It was just a good match for a speedy visit in Alcobaca with good price-quality ratio. The breakfast spread had an amazing selection of local pastries that made our mornings delightful. Make sure to ask for extra water at reception because it can be hard to come by.

Stunning architecture that beautifully integrates history.
The hotel felt understaffed, making our stay less inviting. Service was lacking, and we often felt ignored and unwelcomed. The dining experience was disappointing, with a menu that didn't meet our expectations for a five-star establishment.

A Memorable Stay with Unique Charms!
I had a lovely stay here, enjoying the spacious twin room with an inviting view. The breakfast felt like a feast, with local treats that made mornings special. Don’t miss the cloister for quiet moments! A tip, bring a good pair of walking shoes for the longer paths.

The breakfast offerings were exceptional, featuring seasonal products that highlighted local flavors. The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a family with children, and overlooked a peaceful courtyard. However, the pool area felt overcrowded, which impacted relaxation, and the service occasionally lacked attentiveness. While the architecture was stunning, the dining experience could use enhancements in menu options.

Some parts shine, others fall flat
The hotel offers spacious, comfortable rooms and the breakfast buffet featured a delightful variety. I particularly enjoyed the elegant, peaceful cloister, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploration.
Service at the restaurant felt slow, detracting from the enjoyable dining experience. Additionally, the gym lacked adequate equipment for a luxury hotel, which left me wanting more options for workouts.

Couple's Charming Escape
The breakfast options were fabulous, it's like a feast waiting for you every morning. We also had a delicious dinner at the nearby place, where the local chicken dish blew us away. Perfectly situated for a stroll around the monastery!
It wasn’t cheap, but acceptable for what we got.
